The Atelier
Heritage jewellery,
made for you.
Kratim — sanskrit for "that which is made" — is Pallavi's custom-first imitation jewellery house, working out of Indore. We borrow the grammar of Indian royal jewellery and re-make it in gold-plate, kundan and stones — at a fraction of fine-jewellery prices, customised to each woman's story.

Chapter I
From the palace archives.
We work from photographs of royal collections — Marwar, Mewar, Hyderabad — and translate their grammar into pieces light enough to wear to dinner. Polki-cut glass kundan, hand-set in gold-plated brass and finished with faux pearls knotted by hand on silk thread.

Chapter II
Customised, always.
What sets Kratim apart is that every piece can be re-imagined. Want the choker shorter? The stones in emerald instead of ruby? A maang tikka that matches your maa's wedding necklace? We sketch it within 48 hours and craft it in 4–6 weeks.

Chapter III
Imitation, honestly.
We don't pretend our pieces are real gold or solitaires — and we don't need to. Our gold-plate is thick and lasting, our kundan is hand-set glass, our stones are top-grade zirconia and moissanite-look. Heirloom energy, accessible prices.
A note from Pallavi
“Heritage shouldn't live in a vault. I want it on real women, on real evenings, at real prices — and made for exactly who they are.”
Pallavi
